Membership to HHOC, normally $60, includes homebuyer education classes. REALTOR® clients can become a member for just $10!*

Upon completion of the classes, a certificate is issued that is often required for various home loan programs. Other services that come with the HHOC lifetime membership include unlimited homeownership coaching and post-purchase services. This education and counseling help put you on the path to homeownership.

Getting Started

Complete the Intake Form

You can complete our intake form two ways, DOWNLOAD or ONLINE, see below for more detailed information.

Download Option:

  1. Download the Intake Form

  2. Complete, Print and Sign

  3. Submit via website, fax, mail or in-person (Oahu)

ONLINE OPTION:

  • Each member of the buying unit will need to complete a form.

  • Every buying unit must have a PRIMARY CLIENT form.

  • If there are more members of your buying-unit (will be involved in your purchase or will participate in the classes, coaching sessions), they will nned to complete the CO-CLIENT form.

Notes for those enrolling online

1. For more information about getting started in our program, click the button below.

2. We use a third party, RightSignature for secure submission of our online forms. After you click on the link to get started, you will have to complete a screen asking for your name and email address before the intake form appears.  After submitting the form online, you will need to click a verification link via your email account you entered prior to completing the intake form.

3. You will receive an acknowledgement of your intake form being received within 3 business days with instructions on payment and next steps.

NOTE:

  • Homebuyers working with a member of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® can receive the courtesy discount - indicate the name of your referring REALTOR® on your application. Not yet working with a REALTOR? Find one here.

  • If you obtained information on the HOPE Homebuyer Education Program through a Kamehameha Schools Resource Center, please indicate "NH" as the name of the referring REALTOR®/Agency (on page 6 of application) to receive the HBR discount. 

* Additional costs will apply for those who prefer the self-paced education option versus the "live" classes via Zoom. A soft credit report is available as an additional charge for those who opt for this option. With self-paced education, you have class access through a website to complete at your convenience and the certificate issued after a follow-up session with a HHOC staff person. “Live” classes are scheduled virtual class sessions with a live instructor.
